At Edelman Financial Services, we maintain a warm, family-like atmosphere, among our colleagues as well as with our clients. We believe our level of customer service, responsiveness, professionalism, and the overall quality of our work is outstanding.

We know that a well-supported, energized and satisfied staff is the driving force behind our success, so we continue traditions to ensure our employees are content and well taken care of.

For example, we sponsor a wealth of outings for staff and their families, and encourage staff to be comfortable with casual dress codes and periodic "Stress Down Days." As a personal tribute, on the company's 10th anniversary, Ric and Jean Edelman flew the entire staff and their families -- along with three families from the Leukemia Society -- to Disney World for four days. Every employee gets a paid four-week sabbatical every six years, and on their 10th anniversary, employees receive a Rolex watch. This is just a taste of what it's like to work for Edelman Financial.

The employee-friendly policies at Edelman Financial Services have gained national recognition, and the firm was named by Washingtonian magazine as one of the 50 best places to work in the DC area. Likewise, EFS spends an incredible amount of energy and support for local charities and activities that benefit our community. Organizations such as The United Way of the National Capital Area, INOVA Institute for Nursing Excellence, the National Kidney Foundation, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and many others benefit from EFS support.
